Tech Article 11/18/11

     This weeks tech article is about the Gmail app in the Apple App store. Earlier this month Gmail launched it's new app, but they pulled it down shorty afterwards. They had to take it down because it contained a bug which broke notifications.

Do now:

     I learned many tools in this Web 2.0 class. Some of the tools I can use in other classes. One tool I can use is embedding things. I can embed Voki's, Videos, Pictures, etc.

My Weekend!

     This weekend was really fun because we had two extra days off! On Friday I went to the mall with my best friend. We shopped at Hot Topic, Spencers, Zumies, and Tilly's. After that, we went back to my house to watch The Orphan. On Saturday I spent my entire day reading. I read the book "Catching Fire" which is part of "The Hunger Games" series.

Tech Article 10/21/11

     This weeks tech article is on the new Lytro camera. This camera lets you refocus on any point of image after it has been taken.  You can take out your camera, take a picture, and not have to worry about it being blurry because you could just fix it later on the Lytro.  It has software on it that lets you edit your pictures from your computer, too. They sell for $399 and you can only purchase them through the Lytro website.

Tech Article 10/14/1

     This weeks tech article is about the Blackberry. Earlier this week, Blackberry users were having problems with the internet, in-boxes and Black Berry Messenger (BBM)..  This was because of a problem in the hardware in its network.  Mike Lazaradi, co-chief executive, said the service was back in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa after their problems on Monday. Users in Canada, Latin America, and North America are still facing problems.

     This weeks tech article is about how Sprint will get its own set of IPhones.  After they released the information about getting their own IPhones, they said they will also have unlimited data plans.  It will start at $69.99 and include unlimited data and 450 voice minutes.

     This weeks tech article is about the new Amazon Kindle Fire.  The price for it is $199.  It will have a bunch of apps that you can download for it.  Some of the apps include Amazon Web Services, Kindle, an MP3, and many more.  This tablet is not yet available.

My Weekend

     I spent my weekend watching TV. I watched my favorite show Animal Cops Houston on Animal Planet. I also watched a marathon of Lizard Lick Towing which is a show about repossessions.

Tech Article 9/22/11

     This weeks tech article is about the iPhone 5.  The iPhone 5 is supposed to be like the iPhone 4, but different, also.  Some rumors about  it are that the new handsets are supposed to contradict with each other.  Some people think the new iPhone will be a minor update with the iPhone 4S, and others think it will be a whole new iPhone 5.

The only subjects I like in school are Reading, Science, Art, and Computers.  I'm not a girly girl or a tomboy.  I have three siblings.  My brother and sister are older and I also have a younger sister.  I have three pets, too.  I have a Labrador Retriever named Sandy, a frog named Froggymcfroggers, and a hamster named Cinnamon.  When I grow up I want to be either an artist, clothing designer, or a vet.
